Disgruntled Veterans
I was informed by the unidentified woman that ALL Disabled Ks Vet permits are on hold due to a lack of funding. According to this receptionist there is no timeframe as to when the hold will be discontinued.
The overall experience was disappointing.
I want to fish and won't wait the entire summer to get a license, and therefore will by an annual fishing only permit.
I called to ask if my application for a Kansas Disabled fishing license would be expedited if I delivered it in person.
So I just called the Pratt office and my called was answered by a secretary/ receptionist who failed to use her name when answering.

I recently visited the Kansas Veterans benefits web site and saw that a free lifetime license was in fact listed among benefits. It made no mention of the hold. Pratt should probably contact the Kansas Department of Veterans benefits and ask them to update this information in order to save other Disabled Veterans from have to call and speak with the borderline disrespectful secretary in Pratt.
